What area does the sensor on a Hummingbird LCR4000 fish finder cover? - hummingbird fishfinder
We recorded a used boat with the locator has. This is a Hummingbird LCR4000 I know nothing. My husband wants to know about the sensor. I think he is anxious to know whether the front-, rear-discovered, at 360 degrees, or what? Please help. Thank you, Dawn

The sensor coverage depends on the angle of the cone.
ReplyDeleteThe shallow water, less range and deeper waters, more range. Consider the cone as a pyramid with the point of leaving the converter.
Again, the region is based on the angle of the cone.

Not sure if this model, most locator now covers between 55-65 degrees in a cone of the converter directly from the device. Some luxury models have the ability to create new look to the future of his company to acquire.
